A Love Letter
Writing Archive
July 13, 2010
This domain was bought for a friend and hostee, Jinnienn. After my previous host somehow got her free domains to stop working, I agreed to buy her a domain of her choice as long as it wasn’t anything to expensive. Her original domain was ALoveLetter.uk.to and her new domain is ALoveLetter.co.uk, so you can see she didn’t make a huge jump. Though she hasn’t kept the site updated, active, or even officially open, I can’t complain. After the hell my host put her through for months. The domain is paid for up to 2 years.

This domain was won by Mellisa Brade (Mel) in a contest that the old Bubble Crush hosting held. Sadly, after the first year and the domain went to expire, she couldn’t renew it. Mel was (and still is) a very close friend. When I saw her so upset about losing the domain, I offered to pay for it. I had plenty of money in my NameCheap account, so it wasn’t a big deal. So I told her that as long as she used it, I could pay for it no problem. So I paid for it in 2010 and again in 2011. Though recently she hasn’t been able to update the website, she has kept me actively informed of whats going on so its no problem.

Beta Reading
April 14, 2009
This was won by Kaylen Phary in a contest that Fading Kiss hosting’s original owner put on. However, I paid for it during the second year (2010) when Kaylen’s appartment floaded out and she had to pay for some damages. I’ve been paying for the domain ever since because she’s had a run of bad luck these past few years. Kaylen uses the domain for her beta reading services. She has always kept it very active up until recently. Her and I are going to redesign the website and make it a bit easier to use for the visitors.

I bought this domain for my friend and sister, Aundrea (Andy) after the domain she had requested to adopt was taken. Since she couldn’t adopt the domain she wanted, I offered to buy her the domain instead. I had plenty of credit in my NameCheap account at the time and was earning more. So it wasn’t a big deal. I’ll be paying for it as long as she uses it. So far, she’s kept the website very active and seems to really love it. I still have to help her with the coding and designing aspect of the site, but she’s learning and seems to be having fun with it. I’m glad.

I bought this domain on July 13th, 2010 for my friend Jinnienn. After the incident with my previous host, who somehow managed to get her previous domain to stop working. He refused to fix the problem or replace the domain that he so happily broke. I felt that I had to buy her a new domain to replace the ones that she lost. Her previous domain was Lullaby-Dreams.uk.to which was replaced by Lullaby-Dreams.co.uk. So she didn’t go too far off the original choice. She enjoys using the website to blog about her family and to share articles she’s read or found interesting online.

Writing Archive
April 6th, 2010
I bought this domain for my friend Kaylen Phary. Her and I had been talking and she brought up an idea to me. She wanted to start a writing archive so that her client, if no one else, could share their works of fiction. They could get reviews from other clients, etc. She hadn’t considered getting a domain for it, instead, she was going to put it as a subdomain under her current domain. Well, .info domains were on sale at the time, so I bought the domain for her and gave it to her, with hosting, as a gift. I have even helped her work on it so that the writing archive could run on a script and so that other users and writers could join the website too. She seems really happy with that, so I’m happy with it too.

Blog and Visitor Content

This domain was originally given to Taylor by another person. I don’t know who. However, when the domain expired, Taylor found that she wouldn’t be able to renew it like she though she would. I had the extra money and offered to renew it as a gift. She seemed really happy and that made me happy too. The website, Taylor has used it as a personal blog that also offers visitor content. I think that her visitor content is very unique. She even offers information on POP3 and IMAP Email Configurations and lists of URL shortening serivices and more! So she makes finding things so much easier! She hasn’t been active on her site lately, but she’s kept me emailed and informed of whats going on so I really don’t mind too much.

This domain was originally bought for a girl named Jennifer Mclellan. She used it for maybe 3 months and then decided that she was going to just give it away to whomever wanted it. Well, when I bought the domain for her, it was under the consider that she would use it until the domain expired. Well, I took the domain back from her and as we agreed before I bought the domain, she would pay for the domain and for hosting. I wasn’t that much. Sadly, I still have not recieved the money and I am still struggling with her to get it, 2 years later.
Well, after Jenn decided that she didn’t want the domain and I took it back, I had no idea what to do with the domain. I tried to sell it for a while, no offers, nothing. After a bit, my mum decided she wanted a domain and she would take this one. Well, to say the least, she used it like 3 times to blog and that was it. She keeps saying she’s going to use it. Each time I say, “If you don’t keep the domain active, I’m not going to renew it.“. So each year, when it gets close to the expiration date, she’ll blog on it a few times. I’ll renew it and we’ll go through the whole thing again the next year. Fun. To say the least, I’m not happy or impressed.
