Domain Collective

June 27th, 2009 / March 27th, 2011

I originally bought this domain to be my blog and for a while it was my blog. However, in October, I was getting bored with the blog. I just couldn’t stay interested. That’s when I decided that I wanted to start over. I had another domain sitting off to the side that I had never used. So I moved my blog over to the other domain. However, now this domain had no use. I didn’t know what to use it for. I didn’t want to let this domain go though. I still loved this domain very much. I still do. Well, sometime in early 2010 I decided that I would use this domain as my domain collective. I never actualy opened the website though. Finally, in the very begining of 2011, I started seriously working on this domain. At the time, it was hosted with NoLimitsHost, which then went down and I lost everything I had worked on and set up. I wasn’t about to give up though. No. On march 26th, 2011, I set back to work on it again I got it open within a few days.

Quotes

June 14th, 2010

This domain was bought for me by Erin. She didn’t buy it for me for any specific reason. She just offered to buy me two domains, any domains I wanted. Well, I chose this domain and one other. Out first, I wasn’t sure what to do with this domain. However, that changed quickly. My friend, Taylor, suggested to use it as my quotes website. I liked the idea. So I went with it. A lot of people are always asking me to share a quote with them or to come up with one for them, so, this website just makes it so much easier. People can either use a quote already there or I can add a quote I came up with for someone. I really like the website. Its not overly asctive, but I keep it updated frequently. I love it.

Web Hosting

May 25th, 2009

This is my web hosting company. Its been around for a few years. It used to be open, but then the coding was just so horrible and such a disaster that I wanted to remake the entire site. I removed everything from the original site and started over. I’m almost done and it should be open soon. It currently gets about 3 new clients a week. Sometimes more on average. So I’m really proud of it. The company will offer everything from free hosting to Dedicated Servers.

To-Do Lists and Monthly Goals

April 26th, 2011

The domain was bought for me by Yvonne. I actually won this domain when she had a domain giveaway contest. I never expected to win so it was an amazing and wonderful surprise when I actually won. I was thrilled. This domain, has really helped me keep track of my goals and to-do list items. Its great! I update it monthly if not more. I check things off my to-do lists or monthly goal lists often. Which is great because that means I am really getting things done and I love that! Its an incredibly helpful website! I can’t thank Yvonne enough.<

Script Installation Service

April 11th, 2011

Over the years, I have learned how to install so many different scripts. A lot of my friends are always asking me for help. I don’t mind helping. One day, my twitter friends suggested that I sell my services. I mean, I have so much experiance with these scripts and I’m always learning more. I love installing scripts – don’t ask. So I love this site. I am experianced with so many scripts and the list is always growing. So this site is great. I make a little money and I can install scripts for people. Plus, its fun!

Dream Blog

August 11th, 2010

I won this domain in a contest that Isi held. However, it took me a while to get the site open because I became homeless on August 13th, 2010. I did get the site open though and I’ve been working on it ever since. So, the site is a dream blog. I have a lot of dreams and I love expressing them. However, I don’t want them to be as shared and as read as my blog is. I wanted a little bit more privacy with my dreams then with my blog. So using this domain for my dreams was perfect. I mean, dreams are hard to fullfill, at least my dreams are. So being able to fullfil my dreams, any of them, is like being kissed by a star.

Blog

October 26th, 2009

This domain was originally registered on June 12th, 2009. I registered it when I switched hosts. The hosting package I bought came with a free domain. When I got this domain though, I had no idea what to use it for or what to do with it. So there it sat, hosted and everything but with no real use or purpose. Well, in October 2009, I found that I wanted a fresh start with my blog. Switching domains was the best way to start over. So I moved my blog from my previous domain to my new one; to this one. I have used this domain as my blog every since and honestly, I’ve never been happier. I absolutely adore this domain and I don’t think that I could ever give it up. With it, I’ve always been happy to blog and keep my site active. I’m in love with this domain and I’ve never even considered moving my blog to another domain. I love this domain and I don’t think that will ever change.

The NinjaThe Ninja

Photoblog

February 2nd, 2011

I actually bought it while I was homeless. I registered it on November 23rd, 2010. I know, registering a domain at that time wasn’t my smartest thing. I had the money in my NameCheap account and I really wanted this domain. This domain, I just really loved it. It was fun and cute and made me think of my stuffed rooster named, Chickie. When I was a kid, I thought he was a Chicken. lol So I named him Chickie. According to me, He was born a chicken, he’s gonna die a chicken. So he may look like a rooster, but he’s a chicken! The domain, was completely and totally inspired by Chickie. He thinks he’s a ninja. Yes! My stuffed animals have personalities and talk and everything! So HA! Lol. This domain is just such a fun domain. I bought the domain at a bad time, but I wouldn’t take it back. I really like this domain and everytime I say its name, I can’t help but smile. I would never give that up.

Domain Adoption

June 14th, 2010

This domain is owned by me and Erin. Its a very important site to me. I’ve very passionate about it. I love giving domains out to people. This site gives people the opertunity to own a domain. They can keep the domain, without having to pay for it, as long as they follow the rules and use the domain and keep it active. This site was inspired by Olivia’s domain adoption service. However, I didn’t think her set up was fair. You could only have one domain ever, you had to be some professional designer, and she was very strict. She made… She made it so that having your site and domain just wasn’t fun. It was a stress. I didn’t think that was fair. I wanted a domain adoption site where it didn’t have to be a stress to adopt a domain. I wanted it to be easy and fun. That’s what this site is. A fun and easy way to adopt and rent a domain.

Fanlisting Collective

May 15th, 2011

I bought this domain for myself with my birthday money. I had about $15 left over after my mum had spent almost all of the rest on stuff. I wanted to spend a little bit of the money though. I bought two things with that birthday money and this one one of the things that I bought. I had been dying for this domain ever since I thought of it back in February! Our first, I wans’t sure what to do with the domain, that was before I bought it.

When Georgina put some fanlistings up for adoption and tweeted about it. I decided to check it out. She had really gotten me into joining fanlistings and she had said that adopting them and running them was fun. So I was interested. She ended up having two fanlistings I was interested in, both for webmasters. I didn’t get both fanlistings, but I did get one. I was able to adopt and take over the fanlisting for Georgia Kate. I was thrilled!

Out first, I had no idea where I would put this fanlisting. I had 2 unused domains, but they didn’t really hit me as “fanlisting domains”. They just didn’t fit. It didn’t feel right. That’s when it hit me. Vanilla-Skies, the domain that had been stuck in my head for the past months. That was it! That was the domain that I had to have for this! So with my mum’s permission and OK, I bought the domain and I am now using it for my fanlistings. I do intend to adopt or open more fanlistings in the future.

Right now, I still have to get this website up and running. The fanlistings under it are fine. I do still need to put a layout up on the site though sand set it up. I’m doing that now. So check back!
